Whenever we enter into something, we always have a picture in our mind of what it’s going to be like. Think of when you started high school or college. Think of your wedding day. Think of when you found out you were pregnant. Think of when you started your company, or when you inherited the company. You had thoughts and dreams and aspirations about what this was going to be..and you could see it. Then 5 years goes by. Then 10. Then 25. It’s only after some time has gone by that you really see what it means to be married, or to be a parent, or to be a business owner. The same is true with following Jesus. It’s only after some time, that we really see what it means.
