In any classical music piece there is usually a moment that everything is building toward: the Crescendo! It’s the main part the composer wants you to remember. In literature, this is known as “the climax” of the story. It’s where everything comes to a head. 1 John 4:7-21 is the crescendo of John’s letter. It is his richest and fullest treatment of love in his letter, and maybe even in the Bible. I don’t want to give it away. I’d rather you read it.
