At every turn in Scripture, not least in 1 Timothy 6, the Bible identifies of as managers as God as the owner…of everything! In our fallenness we are drawn to possessing, owning, thinking thins are “mine”. But when we follow God, and we see that everything we have has in fact been given to us, we find it remarkably freeing to find ourselves as managers and not owners.
